10roussanneClick bottle for winemaking notes

2010 Roussanne

The Roussanne grape takes its name from the French word “roux”, meaning russet - a good description of the grape’s reddish gold skin at harvest. This is a wonderfully rich, round, and complex wine due to its barrel aging, while still retaining its fruity character. Very soft with lovely flavors of green apples, vanilla, nut and fig. Lighter in body than an oak aged Chardonnay. Limited production. Available only at the winery.
