| 2005 Crown of Cab –
The crown jewel of our cellar. Our first blend to contain all 5
of the true Bordeaux varietals! Aged in oak for 24 months.
47% Cab Sauvignon, 33% Cab Franc, 15% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot. |
| 2005 Pinot Noir – Aged for 12 months in all new French oak barrels, this is our best Pinot Noir yet! Dark, rich color with aromas of toasty coffee/mocha. Velvety smooth, lingering finish with hints of fresh ripe berries on the palate. |
| 2006 Lemberger – The German name of these grapes is Lemberger - and no, it doesn’t mean “stinky cheese” in German! There’s nothing “stinky” about this delicious medium bodied oak aged red wine. Rich, toasty overtones and slightly spicy flavors with a dry finish. |
| 2004 Cabernet Franc – A
smooth, medium bodied
oak aged red wine made in the French style. Aromas of
strawberries - smooth, graceful, & elegant. The perfect
wine to pair prime rib or with a steak grilled on your patio. |
| 2005 Wolf's Prairie Red – A fun red table wine. Deep red color, full-flavored, food friendly, and will age well. Oak aged a year, a rich, fruity blend of deChaunac and Chelois grapes. Watch out, this Wolf can make you howl! |
| 2006 Syrah
(a.k.a. Shiraz) – The Australians started
calling this wine “Shiraz”, but for over 800 years it has been known as
Syrah. Our oak aged Syrah will age majestically, with complex
spicy overtones of violet and cloves, and dark blackberry and licorice
flavors. |
| 2007 St. Vincent – Our lightest red wine. Named after the patron saint of wine grape growers and vintners. Dry, but mellow, with characteristics similar to an Italian Chianti, St. Vincent has a fresh bouquet with hints of cherry. Perfect with a picnic, pizza or pasta. |
| 2007 Pinot
Grigio - Our Pinot Grigio is a
refreshing, crisp, dry white wine with hints of lemon. All
stainless steel fermented in the northern Italian style, this premium wine pairs well with salads, appetizers, or salmon. |
| 2007 Steelhead White - A delicious blend of Seyval Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio grapes with hints of citrus fruit flavors. Named after the Steelhead Trout that swim up the St. Joseph River from Lake Michigan to the Berrien Springs Dam, this wine is a perfect accompaniment to trout, salmon, walleye, or any fish or chicken dish. |
| 2007
Sauvignon Blanc - A delicious this
wine is a perfect accompaniment to any fish
or chicken dish. |
| 2007 Marsanne - The Marsanne grape was originally grown in the Rhone River Valley of France. It makes a full-bodied white wine with delicate aromas of honeysuckle. Dry finish. Perfect with lobster, shellfish, or try some BBQ pork chops. |
| 2007 Viognier - Viognier is an exotic and rare French white wine grape. It requires a cooler microclimate (like we have here in southwest Michigan) in order to develop its creamy flavors and aromas of peach, apricot, melon, and mango. This wine will fill your palate with lush, complex flavors, a full-bodied mouth feel, and a lingering finish. |
| 2007 Traminette - Notice the distinctive perfumey, floral aroma of this Alsatian-style white wine. A relative of the German grape Gewurztraminer, this fruity wine has a nice dry finish. Perfect with turkey dinner or spicier dishes. |
|
2005 "Reserve" Chardonnay – Pleasant toasty oak
aromas enhance
the rich character of this special barrel fermented Chardonnay. Its golden hue, buttery nose, and rich creamy
mouthfeel are the result of sur-lees aging. Hints
of caramel, figs, and green apple add to the
complexity of this
ultra-premium wine. |
| 2007 Vignoles - A semi-sweet, refreshing white wine. Light yellow color, delicate and fruity in a tropical way, this is the perfect wine for sipping on the patio on a summer afternoon, as well as a good accompaniment for Asian food. 3% residual sugar. |
| 2007 Traminette “Sweet” - A sweeter version of our classic Traminette, this wine still retains the distinctive perfumey, floral aroma which is typical of a Gewurztraminer. Sophisticated and fruity with 4.5% residual sugar. |
| 2007 Grandma’s Red - Made from the same full-flavored, deep red blend of grapes as our Wolf's Prairie Red, but in a sweet style. "What big taste your sweet red wine has, Grandma!" exclaimed Little Red Riding Hood. "All the better to eat you with my dear," answered the Wolf (in Grandma's clothing). 4% residual sugar. |
| 2005 Cabernet
Franc Ice Wine -
This is a traditional ice
wine - the grapes are left on the vine for several months after normal
harvest time to let Mother Nature freeze them. Picked and crushed
while below 17 degrees F, the water inside the grape remains frozen,
and only the most concentrated sweet nectar is pressed out. The
2005 was harvested and pressed on December 7 & 8, 2005 - at 15
degrees F - at 44%
sugar; aromas of honey, caramel, and raisins. Nutty, strawberry
flavors with a bracing finish of acidity.
28 %
residual sugar. |
