Wally Maurer, owner/winemaker at Domaine Berrien Cellars, and his fishing partner Dave Walter will be competing in several walleye fishing tournaments throughout the Midwest during 2017 as "Team Vino", representing Domaine Berrien Cellars and the Southwest Michigan area. Follow us on Facebook!
2017 Tour Dates and Schedule
Team Vino is currently registered for the Detroit River Tournament and will be boat #80 in a SOLD OUT field of 120 teams of fishermen. It's going to be fun!
We will see if we can balance the busy winery season with the walleye tournament season and hopefully make it to the Lake Erie & Houghton Lake events.
One of my favorite places is Alpena - unfortunately their tournament is the same day as our DBC Art Festival this year, so we will not be able to fish in that one. We will hopefully be able to make it next year!
